AMBA Chicago Chapter Announces
2019 MOLD YOUR CAREER AWARD WINNER
Homer Glen, IL—December 4, 2019 The MOLD YOUR CAREER AWARD was established in 2010 by the Education Committee of the AMBA Chicago Chapter to recognize outstanding apprentices of the Chicago Chapter members. Candidates are nominated by their employer, must be with the company for at least one year, and exhibit enthusiasm, hard work, ability and desire to learn the skills of a mold builder, mold designer, CNC machinist or die. This year the award was funded by the AMBA National Chapter Scholarship Award that was awarded to the Chicago Chapter. Three outstanding apprentices were nominated for the 2019 MOLD YOUR CAREER AWARD:
- Joseph Adolfson--A-1 Tool Corp.
- Rogelio Estrada--A-1 Tool Corp.
- Tyler Willis--Craftsman Tool and Mold Corporation
All of these gentlemen have been nominated by their companies due to their hard work, dedication and passion as they train to become mold makers. The voting was done blindly by the AMBA Chicago Chapter Board of Directors, who are given the difficult duty of selecting the winner from these outstanding candidates.
At the December 3, 2019, Chicago Chapter meeting, Mr. Estrada was announced the recipient of the award and cited as being a team player that pitches in whenever there is a need. His time management is commendable and he gets all of his projects done on time. Rogello is trained on CNC, Grinding, 3D Modeling, Pneumatics, Baffles, Diverters, Hydraulics, Polishing, Mold repair, Mold Components.

The Chicago Chapter commends all three of these apprentices and wishes them the best in their careers in the mold manufacturing profession.
